Boeing’s space and launch division headquarters is moving more than 800 miles from Arlington, Virginia, to Titusville, Florida. And Jim Chilton, senior vice president of space and launch, didn’t hesitate to embrace the move, he told Orlando Business Journal. “My boss likes to joke ‘You agreed in 15 seconds, and you were there by Friday.’ ”
Chilton will be the top Florida-based executive for the space division of Chicago-based Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA). Chilton is familiar with the Space Coast, having earned his master’s degree at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne and working in Central Florida for years. Read more here.
