Although tax season ended less than a month ago, a local startup is already bulking up its operations in preparation for next year.

Taxfyle, a portfolio company of Miami-based venture capital firm Rokk3r Fuel ExO, recently moved out of Miami’s Coconut Grove and relocated to a new 6,000 square-foot headquarters in Coral Gables. It plans to add workers to its sales division there, but didn’t specify how many.

The startup, which has raised $3.2 million in invested capital to date, recently hired three software developers for its namesake on-demand tax filing platform. They’re working on a business-to-business expansion of Taxfyle called Worklayer.
