Weston-based ERP Maestro has completed a $12 million funding round led by Portland-based Aspen Capital.

The cloud cybersecurity software service firm, established in 2013, plans to use the new capital to scale its operations, expand its product suite and enter new markets. In total, it has raised $20 million. Its technology aims to address a rising number of internal cybersecurity threats. ERP Maestro says four of the Top 10 auditing firms use its technology, including Grant Thorton.

“Automated controls are a critical part of a company’s total cybersecurity defense and compliance solutions,” said Jody Paterson, founder and chief executive officer of ERP Maestro. “Because our platform was built from the ground up as a cloud-deployed system, we have unmatched agility and the capability to easily extend into other security market segments. We are excited about the catalytic role we are playing in preventing and easing the pain of security and controls monitoring for governance, risk, and compliance and the identity and access management space.”
