Catalyst Spaces to close in downtown due to huge influx of competing co-working offices

Catalyst Spaces is set to close its doors after five years in downtown Orlando, due to a huge influx of competing co-working space.

The 7,000-square-foot shared work center at 1 S. Orange Ave is set to close after its lease expired, Catalyst founder Dennis Pape told Orlando Business Journal. That comes as the market for co-working spaces has increased from 40,000 square feet of space in 2017 to over 240,000 square feet by the spring of 2020. “This is a severe market situation, with a tremendous amount of co-working space coming into the market.” Read more here.
