An Orlando-based tech firm that gathered lots of capital and graduated from a popular Silicon Valley accelerator is taking its base of operations back to the well-known tech hub.

NeoReach, an online influencer marketing platform that allows brands to get new users by leveraging endorsements from social media influencers, is scaling down its Orlando headquarters and moving to Silicon Valley. The company is expected to make the move sometime in the first quarter of 2016 — perhaps January, said Aaron Layden, vice president of communications for NeoReach.

The 20-employee company last year moved to 189 S. Orange Ave at the downtown Orlando Plaza. Layden said the firm is considering options for the 3,000-square-foot space once the lease is up, but the Orlando space would become a satellite location that will be run by five employees or less — but even those employees will be required to be in California often to conduct business.
