Satellite firm OneWeb LLC’s $85 million, 100,000-square-foot building is not yet complete in Merritt Island, but one firm already is anxious to use its manufacturing capabilities.
Bellevue, Wash.-based satellite firm EarthNow LLC announced its plans on April 18 to deploy a large constellation of advanced imaging satellites that will deliver real-time, continuous video of almost anywhere on Earth. The firm recently closed it first round of funding from Airbus, Softbank group, Microsoft Corp. founder Bill Gates, and OneWeb founder and Executive Chairman Greg Wyler.
