Sanford Burnham was planning to transfer $25 million in cash to Florida Hospital when the two were on track to close a transition deal last year, according to draft documents obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.
Although the hospital withdrew its bid earlier this year and the transition never happened, a draft of “asset transfer agreement” sheds light on what could have been involved if Sanford Burnham had handed over its facility to Florida Hospital after getting the blessing of Orlando, Orange County, Tavistock and the state.
