Rocket companies and space organizations are getting serious about deep space travel, and the latest rocket tests prove it.

SpaceX released video of its raptor engine being fired up in September, NASA tested its RS-25 engines on Oct. 19 and Blue Origin tested its BE-4 engines the same day.

The groups are busy testing engines to prepare for the next wave of massive rockets that will take astronauts to deep space and possibly send some brave civilians to Mars in the years ahead.
