Tesla has zeroed in on the Cocoa area for its second Space Coast quick-charging location, but the facility is just one of dozens slated to further electrify Florida by next year.
The company is targeting sometime in 2019 for the completion of a Supercharger Station in the area surrounding the intersection – most likely to the east – of Interstate 95 and State Road 520. Its official map of charging locations places it just north of SR 520 near Bob Steele Chevrolet and Phantom Fireworks in unincorporated Brevard County, though the company notes that exact locations will vary.
A Tesla spokesperson would not offer additional details about the exact location or timing of its opening.
