As a top venture capitalist in Silicon Valley California, Christine Herron can make or break dreams by deciding where to direct investments.
As a Miami-born Floridian, Herron would like to see a Silicon Valley in the Sunshine State, a place where great minds with innovative ideas meet people with deep pockets who can help entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality.
“I went to the Northeast for school and then moved out to California for grad school,” she said. “Since I was in tech and I was interested in investing, I ended staying in Silicon Valley. There wasn’t a thriving community, or even a start-up community here, that I could come back to.”
