A publicly traded company is Miami-based LAB Ventures’ newest investor.
The startup studio and venture capital firm announced Miami-based New Valley Ventures made an undisclosed investment in its LAB PropTech Fund, which focuses on technology startups that disrupt the real estate and construction sectors. New Valley Ventures is a subsidiary of Miami-based Vector Group Ltd. (NYSE: VGR), a holding company that also owns the residential real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman.
