The innovation hub that Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik plans to build at Channelside Bay Plaza will be more than physical space.
“I think of this hub as an impact vehicle,” said Lakshmi Shenoy, CEO of the innovation hub in Tampa and a veteran of a similar project, 1871 Chicago, a startup accelerator.
Shenoy was among the speakers Thursday afternoon who helped close out he Synapse Innovation Summit at Amalie Arena, designed to highlight the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tampa Bay and to bring together innovators from all industries and stages of development.
