The first class of Wyncode graduates were all working as developers within a few weeks of the coding boot camp’s end in July, co-founder Johanna Mikkola said.
Of the 14 graduates of the nine-week program based at The LAB Miami in Wynwood, five are working on their own startups. Two stayed in developing jobs that they already had. Other graduates were hired by Wyncode’s local partners, including CareCloud, MDLIVE and Outform.
Matt Mawhinney, 29, signed up for Wyncode after leaving his job as a political analyst to try programming. The app he built during camp earned him an offer from Rokk3r Labs, a Miami technology portfolio. Read more here.
