Webster University, which has two satellite campuses in Orlando, is moving to an office building downtown and opening a new coworking space.
“We want to better serve the needs of students but also raise the profile of Webster in Orlando,” said Patrick Giblin, director of public relations for St. Louis-based Webster.
The university offers only graduate degrees in the Orlando area. It currently has about 350 students and nine full-time staff, with about 85 part-time faculty here. Classes are currently held in leased office space near SeaWorld and in Altamonte Springs.
