Video sports training startup wins $3M in Series A funding


    Miami-based SportsEdTV, a sports education media company, just scored $3 million in funding.

    The startup did not reveal the name of the lead backer in the Series A round, but said it was a global sports-related venture capital firm. Other investors in the round included private investors, professional athletes including an English Premier League soccer player, and West Coast-based strategic investor Rick Foker.
