A popular ride-sharing app for smartphones, Uber, has launched a petition to support Florida legislation to clear the way for their business in Tampa, Orlando and Miami.
San Francisco-based Uber Technologies has encountered local ordinances in Florida’s three biggest cities that prevent it from operating.
According to a news release, 9,000 residents and visitors signed the Florida petition in the first 24 hours. Read more here.
