Uber-backed grocery delivery app enters US market via Miami, Dallas

    Santiago, Chile-based Cornershop has launched in Miami and Dallas, making its debut into the U.S. grocery delivery market.

    Cornershop enables users to purchase goods from local supermarkets, independent grocers and specialty stores online or via their smartphones for on-demand and scheduled deliveries. Prior to its most recent expansion announced Thursday, Cornershop was available in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Canada, and was billed as one of the largest grocery delivery services in Latin America.
