This Tampa tech company just won PayPal’s business makeover contest

ProjectMQ, a Tampa company with a multimedia search engine for independent video games, is in the national spotlight after winning PayPal’s business makeover contest.

The contest drew more than 20,000 entries and ProjectMQ was one of three winners.

For ProjectMQ, co-founded by twin brothers Marcus Howard and Malcolm Howard, that means a $10,000 prize, a website makeover and personalized support, as well as a premium subscription to the e-commerce platform at Shopify, which partnered with PayPal on the contest, said Marcus Howard, CEO.
