Technology powers a major portion of Orlando’s economy, delivering an estimated $12.5 billion economic impact to the city’s economy, according toCompTia’s Cyberstates 2019 report. From software development to simulation and modeling advancement, the tech community consists of a wide array of positions in computer, data and analytics fields.
The industry employs 35,700 of the metro area’s more than 1.2 million workers, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data from 2018, the last year with data available. The industry added 2,450 jobs between 2017-2018, and the average annual tech worker salary increased from $79,900-$81,690. Read more here.
