The next tech mecca: An inside look at Osceola County’s NeoCity mixed-use campus


When Chester Kennedy looks out of a large glass window on the second floor of the $75 million Florida Advanced Manufacturing Research Center, he doesn’t just see vast grassy fields with a few mounds of dirt scattered about.

Instead, Kennedy envisions tall buildings with offices, apartments, STEM schools, people canoeing on lakes, urban farms, roads ready for autonomous vehicles — all the things expected to be featured in NeoCity, a vibrant high-tech district in Osceola County.
