Rachel Zietz, CEO of Gladiator Lacrosse, will continue growing her Boca Raton-based company as a Princeton University student, she told the South Florida Business Journal.
The 18-year-old entrepreneur, who will begin studying economics at the Ivy League school Sept. 10, said she’s looking forward to more free time to work on bigger projects, such as creating new lacrosse products that can be used by professional and collegiate teams.
“In high school, you have such a structured schedule,” Zietz said. “I would have to squeeze in time to make phone calls. In college, I’ll have two, maybe three classes a day, so I’ll have much more independence and free time. I’ll have all these extra hours to focus on the business.”
