Don’t expect to see a lot of community desk space inside Canvs’ new Winter Park space when it opens in December. And if the new site takes off as expected, you might see it become as big as the downtown Orlando space.
The lease, which was signed last week, will include 7,500 square feet of new co-working space — now being renovated on the second floor of the Douglas Grand building at 101 S New York Ave. — as well as 6,000 square feet for Jonathan Taylor’s surveillance company Sighthound.
The serial entrepreneur and investor told Orlando Business Journalthat the Winter Park site will focus more on private office space. But it also has the potential to become as big as Canvs’ current 17,500-square-foot co-working facility in downtown Orlando.
