Tampa technology company relocating to downtown, adding jobs

Nitro Mobile Solutions, a software, technology and consulting firm, is moving from New Tampa to downtown Tampa, tripling its space and adding 35 new jobs by 2018. Nitro will add jobs in the areas of software development, quality assurance and technical support. The company plans to triple its space with the move from 3,000 square feet to 9,000 square feet and will invest $100,000 in renovations, equipment and office furnishings. The company will occupy Suite 910 of the BMO building at 501 East Kennedy Blvd. “Nitro’s rapid growth has been fueled by the incredibly talented people we have found in or relocated to Tampa,” said Pete Slade, the company’s CEO. “Their expertise and creativity have helped us develop successful, innovative products and create a culture that allows us to recruit the best. The support we have received from the local business community and Hillsborough County has been tremendous.”
