Take a closer look at innovative plans for Osceola’s 500-acre tech campus

NeoCity, Osceola’s 500-acre tech campus, will not be a traditional research park riddled with companies conducting research, but rather, a proving ground of just how residents will use the technology being developed.

NeoCity will feature various ways of using smart sensors to collect data, ranging from autonomous car-friendly roads to measuring the flow of rainwater. The tech campus will be anchored by the Florida Advanced Manufacturing Research Center, a 109,000-square-foot, $70 million building where people will study and develop smart sensors — a market estimated to have a global impact of $154 billion by 2020.
