Halo Technologies, a 3-D printing and 3-D scanning startup, plans to create dozens of jobs in its recently opened office in downtown West Palm Beach.

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County said the company would hire 50 new employees by 2018 and make a $300,000 capital investment to lease a warehouse in 2017. Halo Technologies will host a grand opening celebration for its 1,300-square-foot office at 226 Datura Street on Aug. 19 starting at 3 p.m.
