Startup that turns ocean trash into face masks eyes growth on Space Coast

Two years ago, Florida Institute of Technology business and environmental studies student Dylan Cross decided to bring designs he created on an iPad to life.

With the help of some classmates, he bought clothes made with post-consumer plastic and began printing his designs on them. However, Cross wished the shirts were made from plastics taken from the ocean, a cause that’s important to him. “That’s going to make the story so much better. That’s going to make the impact so much better.”
