SpaceX is ready to launch one of most important — and hardest — missions to date.
Their Hawthorne, California-based rocket company founded by billionaire Elon Musk on May 23, is scheduled to shoot Falcon 9 rocket into space, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 40 carrying 60 of firm’s satellites. That launch of Florida’s Space Coast is significant, marks the start of SpaceX’s ambitious Starlink program that involves sending nearly 12,000 satellites into orbit to close, these global internet connectivity gap and provide faster, cheaper internet service.
