Scott questions Sanford Burnham move


Rick Scott‘s office sent a sharply worded letter to Sanford Burnham and UF on Friday, indicating the governor was kept in the dark and demanding answers about what their negotiations would mean for the state and taxpayers.

The list of two dozen questions in the letter to UF President Kent Fuchs and Sanford Burnham CEO Perry Nisen all have one underlying theme: What’s the return on investment for state and local taxpayers if Burnham were to leave the state and turn its research facility over to the university?
