Tampa-based cybersecurity company ReliaQuest expects to hire 100 employees by the end of the year, thanks to being in an industry many have deemed as close to recession-proof as one can get.
“We’re critical to [customer] operations — they need it now more than ever,” Brian Murphy, CEO at ReliaQuest, said in a previous interview with the Tampa Bay Business Journal. “We’re very essential and we’re able to work with customers coming through difficult times, but the demand hasn’t stopped. We haven’t had to do any layoffs; we’ve had to grow through this. Our biggest challenge is taking all the platforms to make it 100 percent virtual in 30 days.”
