Power technology company wins Florida Venture pitch

Jupiter-based startup company PowerPHASE won the Florida Venture Forum’s Early Stage Conference pitch session on Thursday.

Twenty companies pitched all afternoon at the conference held at the Reunion Resort near Kissimmee. Power Phase is developing technology that uses compressed air to increase efficiency of gas-powered turbines to generate electricity.

Orlando entrepreneur Darren Wendroff pitched his company, CareSpotter, which offers a website that connects families seeking caregivers for seniors with qualified, vetted professionals. Read more here.
