O’Dang Hummus ‘to get some serious shelf space’ in Wal-Mart


Jesse Wolfe is still a bit stunned about a deal he landed with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. late last month, but the University of Central Florida graduate and entrepreneur can’t afford to waste much time on celebrating the big news. He has has a lot of hummus to make.

“It’s crazy to think I started this thing at UCF and my friends and we were making hummus at a small, shared-space kitchen,” Wolfe told Orlando Business Journal about his company, O’Dang Hummus, which was founded in 2013. “Now, I’m standing in a 275,000-square-foot facility and I’m watching semi-trucks of chickpeas come in. I have never seen so much hummus produced in my life.”
