Magic Leap pivots to health care technology

Magic Leap has pivoted to the health care space in a nod to founder Rony Abovitz’s Mako Surgical days.

The medical technology entrepreneur’s augmented reality company has forged a partnership with German medical software company Brainlab as it aims to “transform the relationship between health and technology.” Health care innovations have taken center stage for Magic Leap, according to a Wednesday announcement.
