Lockheed wins $10.5M military deal add-on with work in metro Orlando


    Lockheed Martin’s F-35 program is bringing more defense work to Central Florida.

    Bethesda, Maryland-based Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) secured a $10.5 million modification to an existing $98 million contract to produce an F-35 simulator database for the government of Japan. Seventy percent of the work will be performed in Orlando, and the contract is expected to be completed by July 2021.
