Lockheed Martin’s growing Orlando workforce is amped about technology


    Lockheed Martin’s recent hiring binge is snapping up engineers and tech talent from the University of Central Florida and other schools almost as fast as they graduate, and bringing in people from other cities to work in Orlando.

    Alex Borell got his bachelor’s degree in engineering from UCF in 2015. Now he’s working in Lockheed’s Advanced Manufacturing Lab, using scanners and 3-D printers to produce test parts.
