Lockheed exec: Here’s what it takes to work at metro Orlando’s largest tech firm

Steven Botwinik used to pull into Lockheed Martin’s Missiles & Fire Control facility in Orlando behind cars with New York and Ohio license plates and assumed they were lost. Now, Botwinik sees the same thing and knows they’re local employees coming to work. 

Botwinik, director of fire control advanced programs, said he has seen the Orlando facility grow at a rapid pace. The company’s Central Florida employment grew from 7,000 to more than 8,000 employees between 2016-2019, according to Orlando Business Journal research. Read more here.
