Lake Mary software biz acquires Kansas tech firm, plans to add 60 local jobs

A Lake Mary-based tech firm is expanding its footprint with a strategic acquisition of a Kansas software company.

CentralSquare Technologies — formally known as Superion LLC before merging with three other software firms in September 2018 — announced on Jan. 8 that it acquired Lucity Inc.

CentralSquare provides public safety and public administration software to more than 7,500 organizations across the U.S. Specifically, the firm offers public safety and first response dispatch management, records and citation management, payroll and utility billing. And the acquisition of Lucity will expand those services by integrating its asset management platform that can analyze finances and community development infrastructure such as keeping up with road maintenance to reduce the number of vehicle accidents.
