Investment firm with Tampa ties raises $128M for breakthrough industrial technology


    A venture capital and private equity firm that focuses on industrial technology innovation has raised $128.4 million for its debut fund.

    Anzu Partners, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and with an office in Tampa, exceeded its original target of $100 million for Anzu Industrial Fund, said Whitney Haring-Smith, managing partner.

    The fund is investing in U.S. and Canadian private industrial technology companies that innovate in manufacturing, monitoring and measurement, modeling and materials, a press release said.
