Central Florida startup company Signal Vault won big on the season premiere of ABC TV’s Shark Tank Friday night.
The anti-hacking company based in Seminole County landed key investments from sharks Lori Greiner and Rob Herjavec on the show, which aired on Friday night at 9 p.m with guest star Ashton Kutcher.
It was a defining moment for entrepreneur Chris Gilpin, 34, of DeBary. He secured $200,000 of new investment for his product, a simple card that goes in your wallet to block hackers that may sweep areas electronically to pick up data from new EMV credit cards.
