How this small Orlando tech firm grabbed global attention after being in business for a month

Orlando entrepreneur Taj Adhav has been caught in a whirlwind for the past month after his company, LeaseCake, won a global competition.

LeaseCake, a company that simplifies commercial and real estate management for small and midsize property owners by tracking leases through an online platform, came out on top after competing with more than 12,000 attendees from 200 cities, 58 countries and six continents at the Techstars Global Startup Weekend.

“We’ve hardly had a chance to breathe,” Adhav, CEO and co-founder of LeaseCake, told Orlando Business Journal. “I didn’t even think I would pitch, but I figured I would give it a try.”
