A smart sensor development group in Osceola inked a new partnership with a well-known research institute in New York — a move that will help accelerate technology innovation at NeoCity, a local burgeoning high-tech campus.

BRIDG announced Oct. 30 that it entered a memo of understanding with the State of New York Polytechnic Institute, or SUNY Poly. The institute is recognized as a leader in technology innovation, research and development. Brandon Arrington, Osceola County commission chairman, said the partnership not only will push innovation within BRIDG, but it also will help with local high-tech investments and job creation.
