‘Grandkids-on-demand’ startup Papa raises $18M in Series B led by Comcast Ventures

Papa, a “family-on-demand” platform for older adults and families, has more than doubled its dollars from venture capital investments after closing on its latest funding round.

The Miami-based company, founded in 2017, on Tuesday announced the close of its $18 million Series B. Comcast Ventures, the San Francisco-based venture capital arm of Comcast Corp. (Nasdaq: CMCSA), led the round. Previous Papa investors, including Canaan, Initialized Capital, Sound Ventures and Pivotal Ventures, made follow-on investments in the round.
