French startups give Naples a look as a possible place to do business

Entrepreneurs with six high-tech French startups got a strong pitch Monday for why it makes sense for them to do business from Collier County — and Florida.

The French delegation started its three-day inbound trade mission at the Naples accelerator, now home to 14 fledgling companies.

After a quick tour, the visitors walked to a third-floor board room at First Florida Integrity Bank, a few steps away, because it had the sound system and the TV screens needed to support slideshows and speeches from a cadre of local government, community and business leaders.
