If you’re looking for a good place to start your small business, Florida should be high on your list, according to a new study by NerdWallet.
To determine the most entrepreneurial states, NerdWallet analyzed information from the U.S. Census Bureau’s county business patterns and data on Small Business Administration loans.
Florida ranked as the seventh-most-entrepreneurial state, with 3.7 percent small business growth from 2010 to 2013 (No. 4) and 56.4 percent growth in SBA loans per 100,000 people from 2012-2015 (No. 8).
