Firm may build 500K SF facility, create 1,000 jobs at NeoCity

Local tech executives are in talks with 100 companies, trying to convince some of them to establish a location at the fledgling 500-acre NeoCity tech campus in Osceola County — and one of those firms could have a big impact on the area.

Osceola County Manager Don Fisher told Orlando Business Journal that the county and Bridging the Innovation Development Gap (BRIDG) is in negotiations with a manufacturer that would build a 500,000-square-foot facility in NeoCity and create 1,000 jobs. “We also are talking with a national company that would use some space inside the Florida Advanced Manufacturing Research Center,” he said, declining to identify the firms due to nondisclosure agreements. “It is our strong desire to have them.”
