Facebook and Ironhack team up on $250,000 scholarship program. Applications open today

Facebook and Miami-based coding bootcamp Ironhack announced Tuesday they will be partnering up to offer the 2019 Facebook F8 Scholarship. Together, they will launch a Digital Creators Fund, a $250,000 scholarship program aimed at helping women and other underrepresented groups in the tech industry.

Full and partial scholarships will be offered to those who want to study web development, data analytics or UX/UI design at Ironhack’s Miami campus. Scholarships will be selected and distributed by Ironhack to 50 candidates, prioritizing minorities and women for web development. Ironhack will also subsidize scholarships for other courses and applicants.
