What’s Fuckup Nights?

Failure is a part of any success story, but we don’t talk about it enough. We’ve all been to plenty of events where people tell you how they hacked, hustled, and created their success, but very few where someone gets up and says “I totally messed up, and this is what you can learn from it.”

Fuckup Nights is a global speaker series where stories of failed businesses and projects are told, questioned and celebrated. Each speaker is given 7 minutes and is able to use 10 images. After each speaker, there’s a Q&A session, as well as time for mingling and beers!

Wagner dos Santos

Managing Partner, Wagner, a social activation marketing agency.

Wagner is a sociocultural and linguistic anthropologist, brand strategist, podcaster, and managing partner at Wagner with over 20 years of experience. Some call him a marketing maverick because he’s not afraid to tell it like it is even if it goes against popular thinking. He produces Wagner Live, a video talk show and podcast recorded live on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Periscope, and Twitch, covering trending topics in marketing, advertising, branding, and business. Doug and Renata Storer

Cofounders, Night Runner 270, an Orlando shoe light running accessory startup.

Doug and Renata created Night Runner 270 Shoe Lights and experienced what it takes to secure investments from the sharks on Shark Tank. Over the last 30 years, Doug has successfully driven business development and sales for multi- billion dollar, Fortune 500 companies. Doug led the national sales team for Home Depot Supply and was instrumental in developing new market segment strategies. From 1997 – 2007, Doug served as Vice Mayor and Winter Park City Commissioner. Doug has been a runner for 35 years and completed four marathons. Renata has 25 years of experience working as a design manager for a national architecture firm that serves the commercial, retail and hospitality industry.
