If there was one dominant theme at the recent IndieNomicon Expo for video games in downtown Orlando, it was that learning can and should be fun.
The conference built on recent momentum Orlando has gained in education technology, including the sale of a local company, 360Ed, to California-based Junyo, which is keeping an office here.
There was plenty of pure fun at IndieNomicon, but games on exhibit also taught skills or knowledge — like Math Slash from Cellec Games. IndieNomicon drew more than 300 people to its expo at the downtown public library. Read more here.
