EA’s HQ move to downtown among the year’s biggest deals in tech


EA Tiburon has long been a game-changer in the global video game industry, and it’s expected that the studio’s headquarters relocation will be a game-changer for downtown’s tech scene.

Redwood City, California-based Electronic Arts Inc.’s (Nasdaq: EA) EA Tiburon studio in October announced it will move its headquarters from Maitland to downtown Orlando, providing a key office tenant to the Creative Village mixed-used development. The video game studio behind popular titles such as Madden NFL and NBA Live will relocate 700 employees from Maitland to the $1.5 billion Creative Village by 2021. Read more here.
