Downtown Co-working space helps video game makers reach next level

    Kunal Patel understands the struggles of trying to thrive in the digital entertainment industry.

    That’s why the video game developer and co-founder of Orlando-based BrandVR — which creates self-service augmented- and virtual-reality products and services — started the 10,000-square-foot Orlando Gamespace at 421 E. Robinson St., which hosted a Dec. 13 grand opening. The co-working space will allow dozens of small video game studios either to work independently or collaboratively to create innovative digital services and entertainment, all while getting expert advice from those successful in the industry, and even legal advice from entertainment attorneys.
