DermaSensor raises $11.5M with Insightec’s Ferré among lead investors


    Health care technology startup DermaSensor has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding from investors including Insightec CEO Maurice Ferré.

    David Matlin, Chris Dewey and New York-based SternAegis Ventures were the other lead investors in the round. In total, DermaSensor has raised $17 million for its signature device, built to help doctors detect skin cancer quicker and with more accuracy compared to current methods.
